Closure selection depends on the bottle finish, packaged contents, filling process and storage conditions. The following applications outline the main requirements for product review.
Key requirements: Return-and-refill barrels, long warehouse storage, dispenser compatibility
The range includes closures for small water bottles and larger water containers, with selected carry-handle options. Specify the neck finish and, for dispenser applications, the required non-spill interface.
Key requirements: High-speed capping, hot-fill deformation, carbonation pressure
Provide the filling temperature, carbonation pressure where applicable, capper type and line speed. Hot-fill or pressurised use requires product-specific evaluation before approval.
Key requirements: Oil creep at the thread, drip after pouring, long shelf life
Closure and liner selection must consider the oil type, neck finish, pouring requirements and storage conditions. Caps, preforms and carry handles are reviewed as an assembly where required.
Key requirements: Moisture ingress, pilferage, retail shelf presentation
Supplement packaging may require moisture protection, tamper evidence and a suitable sealing system. Published decorative over-caps provide appearance options; functional bottle and closure requirements should be discussed separately.
Key requirements: Viscous product, repeated opening, staining and odour transfer

How to specify
A complete application specification supports suitable component selection and defines the evaluation required before production approval.
Provide the neck-finish drawing, dimensions, tolerances and bottle material. The thread or snap-fit geometry, sealing surface and surrounding bottle profile are relevant to compatibility.
Identify the packaged contents, filling temperature, internal pressure, storage conditions and intended shelf life for material and sealing-system review.
Specify the capping method, equipment type and line speed. Application settings and performance should be evaluated on the intended production line.
Identify the destination market and mandatory documentation. Our current documentation status is set out on the quality page; additional requirements must be reviewed before an order.
